MUSIC WORKSHOPS

Drum Circle

The weekly drum circle is an opportunity to develop rhythm skills by learning to play various percussive instruments (bongos, tongas, bodhran) in a friendly atmosphere. Hosted by Guillaume Courmont, this free activity takes place Saturdays year-long. It is a communal experience where adults and children are welcome, with or without a musical background!

Exploration of world music

This workshop introduces participants to the music of various cultures. It includes music theory, tools for listening and demonstrations by Guillaume Courmont and friends. Exploring how people express their creativity through sound is a mind-expanding exercise and a process through which we learn to perceive the sounds which surround us.
